well u basically the god of the whole place and you can choose what the sims do, you can kill em, burn em, even when they die you get a visit from death

Like the description says The Sims is the biggest selling PC game but it also has games made for the Gamecube, The NDS, PS, and xbox and coming soon it’ll be on the N3DS.
There are 3 main Sims games: The Sims, The Sims 2, The Sims 3. but there are “spin off” series like The Urbz- Sims in the City.
The main games are made to simulate real life. In the most recent game (The Sims 3) you can build your character and you have the option to make more people to live with you like a roommate, family, boy/girlfriend, ect. as well as being able to create pets. You then move into a house our an empty lot where you can build your own house. Your Sims can work for a living or you can use a cheat code to gain as much money as you want and your Sim won’t have to work. You gain relationships with people depending on how you treat them, you can have kids, grow old with another Sim by your side and so on. The game is the closest to real life as it can be because of it’s fine details like if you eat junk food then your Sim can get fat and if your Sim get’s pregnant then she will have morning sickness and so on.
